Angular quote-to-policy journeys across Budget Direct and its partner brands (ING, Virgin, Coles and Ozicare), in a large Agile squad with an 80% test-coverage gate.
Shipped sales-journey features for the launch of Consultant Webscreens, the platform call-centre consultants quote and bind on, and the quote flow for the Coles Insurance launch (September 2024).
Rebuilt the home-insurance journeys in the app's ground-up rewrite; now building the post-purchase service side on the same multi-brand architecture.

A multi-tenant vehicle-inspection SaaS, designed, built and run alone.

Postgres row-level security for tenant isolation, a BullMQ and Puppeteer PDF pipeline, CI/CD, weekly backups and observability on Fly.io. Sunset in 2026 when it didn't find paying customers. The build is the proof.

Where I've worked.

Six years in tech across four countries. Today I build the Angular sales and service journeys behind Budget Direct and its partner brands. Before Australia: an Odoo ERP rollout for an engineering company with no central system, Shopify storefronts for luxury fragrance brands, and business-critical IT for a law firm. The thread through all of it: understand how the business runs, find the friction, ship the tool that makes it cleaner to run.

Front-End Developer
- Build and ship Angular quote-to-policy journeys for car and home insurance across Budget Direct (serving over three million Australians) and its partner brands ING, Virgin, Coles and Ozicare.
- Delivered sales-journey features for the Consultant Webscreens launch and the quote flow for the Coles Insurance launch (September 2024, a ten-year underwriting partnership).

Understand the business first

I start by learning how the business actually runs: where the friction is, what's costing time, what people quietly work around. The tool comes after the understanding, not before it.

AI in the loop, not on autopilot

Claude Code and Copilot run through my whole delivery loop: implementation, refactoring, tests, review, spikes. It's how I move fast without cutting corners, and take on more solo than I otherwise could.

Own it end to end

From the database to the deploy to the customer enquiry, I'm comfortable owning the whole line. That's how independent products and client work get finished, not just started.
